Dugsi & Qur'an School
Serving 600+ students in a 30,000 sq. ft. center.
At Dar Al Qalam Center, we provide an Islamic environment that fosters reading, writing, understanding, and practicing the Holy Qur'an. Our Dugsi serves 600+ students across 10 classrooms, with men's and women's prayer halls, a kitchen, and a snack store. Our year begins in Shawal and ends in Ramadan.

How it works
A clear path forward.
Morning Class
Drop-off 7:30–8:00am · Qur'an/Higaad 8:00–11:00am · Snack 10:00–10:25am · Islamic studies 11:00am–12:30pm · Pick-up 12:30–1:00pm.
Afternoon Class
Drop-off 2:00–2:30pm · Qur'an/Higaad 2:30–5:30pm · Snack 4:30–4:55pm · Islamic studies 5:30–7:00pm · Pick-up 7:00–7:30pm.
Admissions
Ages 5–13. Reading & writing placement test. Students must come willingly, with good manners and the right Niyyah.
What if you're at full capacity?+
Parents can request placement on our waiting list. Students are accepted first come, first serve — no guarantees on timing.
What do parents need to do?+
Keep your contact info up to date and respond to admission requests within one week.
Is there a placement test?+
Yes. All students take a reading and writing placement test. Those who pass advance to Qur'an memorization classes.
